CAT BIRD COYOTE featured in No Depression magazine!:

"Amy Raasch is not your typical musician. Wearing many hats which also include playwright and actress, Raasch takes on a brilliant approach with her new video for "Cat Bird Coyote." The piece is an interesting work of art that has a surprise around each and every corner. Following the flow of her enchanting voice, Raasch brings in elements of a dark folk sound to the song, which will stun and intrigue you. The video highlights the song "Breathe My Breath," which is from Amy's forthcoming record, Girls Get Cold.

The animation of the video shows a vivid story, which was created by Tahnee Gehm; truly a piece of art. "Cat Bird Coyote" features monologues that are told from the perspective of the animals, which will ulimately become a live media installation. One of the most fascinating elements of Raasch's music is the storytelling element that she weaves throughtout, leaving no stone unturned. Her haunting voice is intricatately placed as she sings every note with perfection. Songwriting definitely proves to be a strength for Raasch as every  word sung is thoughtfully placed within the song. If "Breathe My Breath," is just the beginning of what Amy Raasch has to offer on Girls Get Cold, consider me a fan.
