CAT BIRD COYOTE Screens Big Apple Film Festival

Amy Raasch's animated music video/short film CAT BIRD COYOTE screens November 7, 2015 as an official selection of the Big Apple Film Festival. This marks the seventh festival appearance for the piece, which recently garnered Best Animation honors in the Los Angeles International Film Festival.

Told in striking, black and white animation, the film weaves together the stories of three animals who struggle to free themselves of their human captors, only to face each other in the wild. Yet hope triumphs as birth breathes renewal into the circle of life.

The piece will ultimately form part of Amy Raasch's forthcoming live media installation, comprised of music, theatrical storytelling and film. It is also the official music video for the song BREATHE MY BREATH from the forthcoming album GIRLS GET COLD.

Recently, the film garnered Best Animation honors in the Los Angeles International Film Festival. Other festival appearances include Rhode Island International Film Festival, Portland Film Festival, Vortex Sci-Fi, Horror & Fantasy Film Festival, and Black Cat Picture Show.

Join us Saturday, November 7 at 3pm at Village East Cinemas, 181-189 2nd Ave, NYC, with Q & A to follow. Please sign the mailing list for latest updates on a screening near you.
